Jerry and Lauren are the proud owners and hosts of Jerry’s Steak House and Wine Bar.
They dreamed of creating a destination restaurant in their home town. Their ambition was to create a family friendly yet mellow and sophisticated eatery serving locally sourced exceptional food and meticulously chosen wines.
Jerry and Lauren designed and created this beautiful space and brought their vision to life in the summer of 2023 when the Mayor of Blandford Forum opened Jerry’s Steak House and Wine Bar.
Since then they have been delighting their customers with some of the highest quality food and beverages in the West Country. In the autumn of 2024 the town of Blandford Forum acknowledged their achievement and awarded Jerry Ward-Soylemez 2024 Entrepreneur of the Year.

Jerry’s Steak House and Wine Bar, uniquely designed and beautifully handcrafted by the owners, is situated over 3 floors and seats 100 people. There are even outdoor tables and chairs from which you can watch the comings and goings along the bustling High Street and admire the well-preserved 18th century architecture of this famous Georgian Town whilst you enjoy a delicious lunch or a cup of our delicious freshly brewed coffee.
Whether you desire a mouth watering steak, a robust freshly cooked Mediterranean pasta dish, perhaps a meat-free burger, a fresh vegetarian dish or a a light salad: we have a dish for every palette. Our talented and experienced chefs are ready to work their magic for you and your dining companions.

Our Food Policy
We are passionate about cooking and serving the best locally sourced farm fresh produce. We choose our steaks from Jurassic Coast Fine Foods, a Dorset company and specialists in traditional West Country farm produce. Their commitment to the finest quality produce inspires our experienced chefs to create dishes designed to bring the very best quality and flavour to your plate. Only the freshest vegetables, herbs and salad ingredients make it into our kitchen. And for that perfect ending to your meal, our deserts are created by our pastry chef using the finest ingredients. So don’t forget to leave room for one of our sweet delights. You won’t be disappointed, we promise!
Our Wine Bar
We believe that the perfect wine complements your meal, transforming it into an exceptional experience. You might choose a crisp cold Sauvignon Blanc to pair with of our freshly prepared salads; or perhaps a rich hearty Italian Chianti to enhance the flavours of a robust Mediterranean pasta dish; or you could pick a smooth, full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon whilst you indulge in a succulent steak. Whatever your preference, our knowledgeable staff can guide you in choosing the ideal wine to accompany your meal.
